The MUSFAN Alumni Ambassador Program

Ambassadors are public supporters of MUSFAN, rooted in their own communities. Their main purpose is to help MUSFAN reach schools through personal connections, especially their former schools. An Ambassador is not a MUSFAN employee, not an LMS user, and not a Workplace user. They hold no administrative access and they do not represent their former school unless the school itself authorizes them. Their relationship with MUSFAN is public, voluntary and community-based.

Responsibilities stay simple by design. Ambassadors share approved MUSFAN content, talk about why they support digital education, nominate their former school, and help introduce MUSFAN to the people at that school.

The separation is firm. Ambassadors never access the LMS, student or school records, and they never change MUSFAN data.

This is far stronger than approaching every school as a stranger. The schools that do not know MUSFAN are reached through people who already know them.

The program centres on alumni. It is open to former students of Liberian schools, and to university students, graduates, young professionals, educators, education advocates and Liberians abroad.

Apply with your story, your former school and your nomination. Review everything, then submit. MUSFAN then contacts you on WhatsApp and asks for a short 20-second to 1-minute video in which you introduce yourself and nominate your former school. Once the video arrives, your application is complete and the Ambassador Team reviews it.

Every Ambassador carries a practical connection. A nomination looks like this: former school Hope Academy, nomination 'I would like MUSFAN to consider Hope Academy for its pilot program.' The Ambassador introduces, and MUSFAN takes over the professional conversation. The school relationship is handled by the Kalifa team, never by the Ambassador.

Approved Ambassadors receive official Ambassador status, an Ambassador ID, a certificate of recognition sent by email, a public profile on this website, recognition, the chance to appear in MUSFAN media, occasional newsletters and campaign participation.
